Project Overview
I'm a big fan of breweries, the people, and the food that seems to always gather at these places make it a great place to be. So I was ecstatic when I got the chance to design a beer label. Wildrose reached out to me to create a package design for their new Raspberry Lemonade hazy IPA.
Inspiration
The beer is called “Ha! Ain't a Radler, Jake”. It was inspired by a Farside cartoon. The joke from the comic ended up sparking up one of the elements of the artwork as well.
The client wanted the artwork aesthetic to be influenced by 450 brewery designs. As well as capture the aspect of bright summer vibes.
Nothing says summer vibes like a pool; it was a complete joy to bellyflop into this water pattern.
The icing on the can
The pool noodles not only tie in with the summer theme, but it's also a nod to the joke from the comic. (hint: pool noodles look like snakes)
